Murai Kotone

Murai Kotone is currently enrolled in the master’s program at the Keio University Graduate School of Media and Governance. Her research focuses on the modifications to living spaces and spatial practices done to protect lives during the Russo-Ukrainian War. Since October 2025,she has interned at Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology Open Laboratory for Emergence Strategies at the University of Tokyo. Her awards include being shortlisted in the top ten for the 2023 Sendai Design League Graduation Design Competition. Murai is also active as a writer alongside her research and creative practice.Last Updated: 2026.04
