mole cubed

A graduate of the University of Tsukuba School of Art and Design, mole cubed was originally a woodblock print artist, but has recently expanded his practice to include generative art and works that incorporate open data, images, and sound. Since a print can be made with coding, mole cubed interprets outputting on a screen as synonymous with printing on a surface, and projects the structure of a woodcut, creation process, and layering of ideas into animation. He is currently also an adjunct instructor in the Musashino Art University Department of Creative Innovation.Last Updated: 2024.08
