Around 2014, she began her artistic practice by singing, using her own body as an instrument in a wide range of venues, from outdoor spaces to theaters and galleries. In 2019, after a residency in Indonesia, she started working with voice improvisation. In 2020, she released A Forever Growing Antenna from a One on the Ground, interweaving singing, storytelling, and voice as an instrument, which has since become a cornerstone of her performances. Tagami also performs improvised singing inspired by the actual scenery of each location, a practice she calls “seeing and calling,” from which she develops songs and live performances. Since 2022, she has focused mainly on performing her own compositions, and in 2024, released her first album, Everything That Sparkles.Last Updated: 2026.04
