Civic Creative Base Tokyo
Tada Kaori earned a PhD from the Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Film and New Media. From 2013 to 2024, she served on the curatorial team of Yebisu International Festival for Art & Alternative Visions, organized by Tokyo Photographic Art Museum, where Tada was also a curator from 2020 to 2024. At the festival, she showcased artists and works that expand the concept of moving image, including Sasaki Yusuke, Forensic Architecture, Martine Syms, and Stan Douglas. At the 2022 exhibition Reinventing Image-Making, she presented a comparative look at media and technology as the conditions for how we see things. Tada was also in charge of acquisitionof the work of such artists as Fujihata Masaki, Tamás Waliczky, and Kimoto Keiko.Last Updated: 2024.09
