Civic Creative Base Tokyo
Born in Tokyo, 1969. Studied architecture from childhood under Shin Egashira, and began creating patterns on September 11, 2001 under the theme of “connecting,” and continues to work across the boundaries of art, architecture, design, and other fields. He also designs and produces three-dimensional objects based on the same principle. Major works include Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic emblems, Dainagoya Building lower level glass pattern, TOKOLO PATTERN MAGNET, etc. He has been a part-time lecturer at the University of Tokyo’s Faculty of Engineering since 2016 and at the University of Tokyo’s College of Liberal Arts since 2018. He also is a visiting professor at the National Taiwan Normal University (Taipei, Taiwan) since 2022.Last Updated: 2024.08
