Ozaki Tetsuya founded the online culture magazine RealTokyo in 2000, the contemporary art magazine ART iT in 2003, and the online culture magazine RealKyoto in 2012. In 2013, he was appointed general producer of performing arts for the Aichi Triennale that year. His edited works include the photo books One Hundred Years of Idiocy (2002) and One Hundred Years of Lunacy (2014), which provide an overview of human idiocy and lunacy in the twentieth century. His writings include What is Contemporary Art? (2018) and To Not Kill Contemporary Art (2020). In 2019, Ozaki was awarded the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres Chevalier. His new book, tentatively titled Duchamp’s Dice, is scheduled for publication in autumn 2026.Last Updated: 2026.03
