Omae Yuto

Born in 1984, Omae began his career in the apparel and textile industry as a clothing store sales associate while still a student. Over the course of approximately twenty years, he has gained experience across the entire textile and apparel supply chain—from upstream material production and midstream manufacturing to downstream retail. Most recently, his work has focused on material development and supply-chain development, handling a wide range of fabrics priced from 200 yen to 30,000 yen per meter. Tatsuno Corporation, where he currently works, aspires to become a “regenerative leading company.” Going beyond upcycling and textile-to-textile recycling, the company seeks to develop materials, products, and manufacturing systems that give back to the soil and natural environment.
