What first led me to think about fragrance was my personal desire to somehow hold onto the scent of someone I love, even when we are apart. Although scents can evoke vivid memories, the individual scent can be difficult to recall. How can we preserve sensations that inevitably fade, and how might we share them with others? In pursuit of answers to these questions, I create poetry and zines, and host small gatherings centered around cooking and sharing meals. Just as a loved one’s clothing can preserve the presence of someone who is no longer there, I believe garments are woven with a sense of time.Last Updated: 2026.08
