Morita Mizuki

Born in Osaka in 2003, Morita Mizuki is currently enrolled in the Architecture Course in the Design and Architecture Program at the Kyoto Institute of Technology. Morita is interested in the differing perceptions of architecture between those within the field and those outside it, and investigates how iconic buildings in local communities might serve to bridge those perspectives. In her studies, she is working on a project that combines augmented reality with models of experimental houses by architect Alvar Aalto to explore new relationships between architectural models and their viewers. Viewing architecture as a medium that connects people, Morita actively participates in various architecture-related workshops, with a particular focus on the potential and structure of the workshops themselves. In her independent practice, she continues to explore ways of communicating the appeal of architecture through travel journals, photography, and illustration.Last Updated: 2025.08
