Matsumura Daichi

Born in Osaka in 2001, Matsumura Daichi is currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Global Arts at Tokyo University of the Arts. His practice moves fluidly across artistic production, exhibitions as cohesive bodies of artworks , art festivals, the architectural spaces that house them, and the urban environments shaped by these elements. With a particular interest in the relationship between art and the city, Matsumura researches the theory and practice of multi-subject, co-creative curatorial approaches that envision a pluralistic world, focusing on regional art festivals. His recent projects include the talk event and public research forum “Critique of Curation” at Kyoto City University of Arts (2025) and the group exhibition Parallel Circuit at Chinretsukan Gallery, Tokyo University of the Arts (2025).Last Updated: 2025.08
