Matsumoto Yuika

Born in 2004, Matsumoto entered the Ueda College of Fashion in 2025 and is currently enrolled in the Knit Fashion Design Major in the Fashion Creator Course. While studying the fundamentals of fashion design, she develops both hand-knitting and machine-knitting techniques. Her creative process begins with a single word, which she then expands into concepts and designs through imagination. By making full use of the unique qualities of different materials and knit structures, Matsumoto strives to create works that communicate ideas and emotions, while continuing to deepen her practice through daily study.Last Updated: 2026.08
