Kanamori Kao

Kanamori Kao is a producer working across fashion, performing arts, education, and community culture, centered on her interests in the body and theater. As the representative director of DRIFTERS INTERNATIONAL, she plans and runs training programs, research groups, and regional arts festivals, as well as partnering with corporations and production companies to develop new projects and plan events. A graduate of Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, she worked at the publishing company Little More before establishing the fashion brand Theatre Products in 2001, and was involved in its management until 2017. Kanamori has recently focused on projects about diversity and inclusion. In 2025, she launched the symposium “Disability and Design” and Working Theater Explorers, a vocational experience initiative that recognizes child diversity.Last Updated: 2026.06
