Ataka Kazuto

Ataka Kazuto is representative director of A Worthy Tomorrow and founding director of the Japan DataScientist Society as well as chair of its Skill Definition Committee. Prior to taking up his current positions, he worked at McKinsey & Company for eleven years and as CSO of Yahoo! Japan for ten years. Ataka specializes in social system design using data and AI, and is actively involved in the formation of government policy for science, technology, and AI. He holds a master’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Tokyo and a PhD in neuroscience from Yale University.
