In recent years, art and design generated by computer software algorithms has attracted a lot of attention. Highly versatile designs based on rules and systems are widely used, from the traditional Japanese pattern ichimatsu to the logos for CCBT and the upcoming Osaka expo. This talk homes in on such approaches to logo flexibility amid a changing social and media landscape.
