iii architects

Comprising Tonomae Rise, Hirai Mio, and Fukudome Ai, iii architects is an architectural design collective active across various fields, including furniture, landscape, stage, and exhibition design. Layering the distinct perspectives of its three members with different backgrounds, the collective interprets the relationship between people and their surroundings through observations of everyday life, aspiring to create architecture from which whole new landscapes and places of habitation emerge. Its major works include Akune Mixed-Use House (2026) and House in Uchinoura (2023).Last Updated: 2026.11
