Yoshida Kathmi

Inspired by street art and murals from across the globe, Yoshida Kathmi has painted numerous wall art pieces for offices and retail stores in Tokyo. She has also held solo exhibitions and events in Singapore and the US. By integrating the real and technological worlds, Yoshida reimagines her surroundings, crafting unique works across illustration, stylization, and design, in pursuit of beauty and compelling ideals. Her achievements include winning the 2023 World AI Grand Prix Angel Award and receiving an honorable mention at the 2nd AI Art Grand Prix, chaired by Yoichiro Kawaguchi, Professor Emeritus of the University of Tokyo. In 2024, Yoshida participated in a panel discussion at the National Art Center Tokyo titled “The Future of Creatives and AI,” and held a solo exhibition at Maruzen Marunouchi titled “Is Generative AI Heaven or Hell?” Her work was also featured in Pen Magazine.Last Updated: 2025.01
