Tada Ibuki

Born with a hearing disability, Tada Ibuki communicates mainly through sign language. She is currently a student on the Support Technology Studies Course in the Department of General Design, Faculty of Industrial Technology, at Tsukuba University of Technology. She studies design know-how for increasing user accessibility with a focus on design that boosts understanding of the support that those with disabilities want and device design considerate of inconveniences that arise for elderly and disabled users. As an intern at Civic Creative Base Tokyo, Tada has taken part in events and other programs for deaf and hard of hearing people, and been involved with planning and managing information accessibility.Last Updated: 2023.10
