Someya Funimme

Born in 1991 in Yamagata Prefecture, Someya Funimme helps artists and practitioners in her capacity as a mediator, coordinating exhibitions, regional art festivals, and performing arts productions. She has recently worked with the learning collective Reciprocal units within Art and Urbanism as a project manager since its launch. In her work, Someya reflects on and engages in dialogue with artists about how far they can continue to make the work that is their life.Last Updated: 2024.04
