In FY2025, CCBT is strengthening its collaboration with the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture. Seoul, a city that has rapidly expanded its presence internationally through pioneering interdisciplinary practices at the intersection of art and technology, hosts the annual Seoul Arts & Tech Festival \u201cUnfold X\u201d under the theme \u201carts that inspire technology.\u201d

This year, coinciding with CCBT\u2019s renewal opening, the artist collective SIDE CORE will exhibit rode work ver. under city<\/em>, a work developed through their 2022 CCBT Artist Fellowship, at Unfold X. In addition, the festival\u2019s Artistic Director will join the opening talk at CCBT.

Through these initiatives, CCBT aims to foster collaboration among artists and cultural practitioners from diverse backgrounds and to encourage exchanges with participants\u2014exploring new forms of co-creation that transcend cities, generations, and cultures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Featuring Takasu Sakie, Matsushita Tohru, and Nishihiro Taishi, SIDE CORE launched in 2012. Harimoto Kazunori also participates in the collective as a video director. SIDE CORE create works based on the question of how an individual can go about sending messages in the city and public space, by referencing the ideas and history behind street culture. They sometimes collaborate with artists working in other genres to create a variety of works in the blind spots and interstices of the city.
